Corinth Channel: a canal connecting the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea.
It cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth and separates the Peloponnesian peninsula from the Greek mainland and therefore effectively making the former an island. The canal is 6.3 kilometers in length and was built between 1881 and 1893.
Epidaurus was a small ancient city on the Saronic Gulf. This territory was the sanctuary of the healing god Asklepios, and was histories first original medical and health tourism destination!
Nauplia is a beautiful seaport town, on the north end of the Argolic Gulf, whose charming homes have quietly crept up the hillsides.

- Thursday - Day 5 - Delphi to Meteora - (B/D)

Delphi is both an archaeological site and a modern town on the south-western spur of Mount Parnassus in the valley of Phocis in Greek mythology.

Delphi was the site of the Delphic oracle, the most important oracle in the classical Greek world, and a major site for the worship of the god Apollo after he slew the Python (a dragon who lived there). Python (derived from the Greek pythein, "to rot") is claimed by some to be the original name of the site - in recognition of the Python that Apollo defeated.

Delphi was also a pan-hellenic sanctuary, where every four years, starting in 776 BC, athletes from all over the Greek world competed in the Pythian Games, which was one of the four panhellenic games and a precursor to the Modern Olympics.
After another scenic short drive we will reach Kalambaka in the evening, check into our hotel.
Dinner will be served at the hotel.
.Overnight in Kalambaka.

- Friday - Day 6 - Kalambaka to Athens - (B)
In the morning after breakfast we will start the day with visiting Monasteries of Meteora.
The Meteora means suspended in the air or in the heavens above etymologically related to "Meteorite") is one of the largest and most important complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries in Greece, second only to Mount Athos.
The six monasteries are built on natural sandstone rock pillars, at the northwestern edge of the Plain of Thessaly near the Pineios river and Pindus Mountains, in central Greece.
The Metéora is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
